Glycerin Beauty Benefits

Glycerin is used in almost every other beauty/skin care products. It is a viscous and oil like liquid though it’s not oily. It absorbs very well into the skin. The best thing about glycerin is that it moisturizes skin without making your skin oily. Glycerin keeps skin hydrated and moisturized by attracting moisture and water towards skin. It holds moisture in the skin.

You could also make your own rose water and glycerin mix at home. Keep it in a spray bottle and just spray it anytime during the day your skin feels dry. It gives your skin a healthy glow and dewy look.

Cleanser

Mix 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon liquid face wash (whichever may suit your skin type) and 1⁄2 teaspoon glycerin (easily found at chemist stores). Apply gently on to face using face sponge/fingertips. Massage gently and rinse with lukewarm water and pat face dry.

Curly Hair

While curly hair is beautiful to look at, it is in no way low-maintenance. If there is one word that fills every curly-haired girl with dread, it has to be frizz. Glycerin draws moisture from the air into the hair shaft. It works well as a conditioner since curly hair tends to get drier than other hair types because of the shape of the hair shaft.
